About enVention
Empowering Innovation, Protecting the Future
What We Do

A Legacy of Innovation Since 2010
enVention was founded in 2010 by software developers Tina Sudberry Barnes and David Ramsden. Its purpose was to provide mission planning software engineering services to benefit our Warfighters. As enVention grew, these services expanded to include systems engineering, interoperability, user experience (UX), test and evaluation, cybersecurity, FPGA, and hardware design services.
Our Values
We do it right because we’re part of the fight. We are driven to do our best because the work that we do is important to each of our citizens. Therefore, we work with discipline and dedication, while holding ourselves to exemplary ethical standards. We encourage our team to exercise respect and understanding to each other, our teammates, and our customers, enabling us to build effective solutions through seamless teamwork.
Leadership that Puts People First
enVention was founded as a springboard for technology lovers to cultivate their ideas, grow their careers, and promote their community. We are committed to building a work family that centers on its people. Our founders, David and Tina, are known for telling our employees, “We work for you,” which they demonstrate through technical mentoring, leadership development, and continuing education.
In 2023, enVention extended leadership opportunities to three employees, Courtney Shoemaker as President, Joe Gregg as Chief Operating Officer, and Scott Jackson as Chief Technology Officer. The announcement demonstrates investment in employees as a mainstay of enVention’s brand. “We are honored that Tina and David have entrusted us to help carry out their vision for enVention. While we grow together as a company, we want to preserve the culture that our founders created and our employees love. That means working harder than ever to connect with each person, understand their goals and values, and keep them challenged and fulfilled.”
